Our Story

Wendy and Joe met during culinary school in Baltimore and had an instant connection.

Wendy, who moved to Baltimore from Washington State with two national first place medals for cooking under her belt.

Joe became Soux Chef at Wyndom Hotel in Baltimore and the Executive Chef in Baltimore Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse were soon married in 1996 and soon after had their three children Jordan, Josh, and Sam.


After years of raising their children in Street, many Disney trips, 4-H fairs, and family cooking competitions, they decided to open Eats & Sweets.


Eats & Sweets encompasses both of their passion for cooking and eating real food that tastes amazing. Almost everything on the menu is made from scratch and everything is made to order!
